ECLIPSE's acclaimed security feature can be activated with the engine switched
off, preventing tampering and unauthorised removal. A deterrent warning
flashes, warning that ESN is operating. a user-designated CD can be used
to 'lock' the unit and make it unoperable unless the same device is used
for 'unlocking'.

5V high voltage
A 5V pre-out is an ECLIPSE standard. When the power amplifier receives
an equal output, a low input signal voltage will cause the amp's amplification
rate (gain) to rise, resulting in significant distortion and noise, and
deterioration in sound quality. The AVN726EA achieves high quality sound
with minimal distortion and noise by increasing the output voltage of the
main unit and thus effectively lowering that amplification rate.
